About the area

Situated on the southern edge of London, Sutton is an excitingly diverse borough. Visitors will want to check out the XVI century timber-framed Whitehall museum in the heart of the Cheam Village conservation area. Nearby is Little Holland House, inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement. Carshalton is a picturesque village that lies around Sutton's two ponds. The upper pond is dominated by the historic house of Honeywood, parts of which date back to the XVII century. The park now contains a heritage centre with a display on local history and a number of period rooms. In addition to historic attractions, Sutton Countryside Walk in the magnificent Oaks Park offers one of many opportunities for relaxation.
